Access: school_admin, queue_manager
Purpose
Command center for monitoring live and historical queue operations.
What You Can Do Here
- View today's KPIs: tickets issued, served, waiting, cancelled, missed, average wait time, satisfaction score, SLA compliance
- See hourly ticket volume chart (bar chart by hour)
- See top performing services and recent activity feed
- Activate or deactivate Emergency Mode (school_admin only)
- View Get Started checklist when setup is incomplete
Dashboard Sections
KPI Cards
Six metric cards refreshed on each Livewire poll:
- Tickets Issued Today
- Tickets Served
- Currently Waiting
- Cancelled / Missed
- Average Wait Time
- Satisfaction Score (average feedback rating)
Hourly Volume Chart
Bar chart showing ticket issuance by hour of day. Useful for identifying peak periods.
Top Services
Services ranked by ticket volume for the current day.
SLA Breaches
Tickets that exceeded their configured SLA wait target. Links to the SLA Compliance report.
Recent Activity
Last 10 ticket and counter events (calls, completions, transfers).
Emergency Panel
Quick toggle for emergency mode with a message field. Only visible to school_admin users. Activating emergency blocks all queue joins across affected campuses.
Get Started Checklist
Amber banner showing incomplete setup steps. Disappears when all 7 tasks are done.
Common Mistakes
- Emergency Mode is for true emergencies only. Activating it blocks ALL visitors from joining any queue on any campus until deactivated.
- Deactivating emergency does not reopen services automatically. Confirm with staff that counters are staffed and ready before deactivating.
