Screen Guide — Queue Join (Service Selection)
URL: /queue/join
Access: Public (no login required)
Purpose
Visitors join the queue by selecting a service and receiving a numbered ticket.
Flow
- Visitor sees a list of active services for the campus
- Visitor taps or clicks a service to expand the ticket form
- Visitor optionally fills in name and email (for notifications)
- Visitor selects priority type if eligible (PWD, Senior Citizen, Pregnant, Scholarship, VIP)
- Visitor toggles notification opt-in if providing email
- Visitor submits — receives ticket and is redirected to status page
Emergency Mode
If emergency mode is active, this page shows a Queue Services Suspended message and prevents joining.
Rate Limits
5 ticket submissions per 60 seconds per IP address.
Restrictions
- If the visitor already has an active ticket (based on email or session), they are redirected to that ticket's status page.
- Services that are inactive or whose office is closed are not shown.
- Services outside the current campus schedule are hidden.
