How to Call and Serve a Ticket

Audience: Counter staff Prerequisites: Logged in; counter selected and set to Online

Steps

  1. Go to /counter/select and click your assigned counter to log in.
  2. You are taken to the Counter Panel.
  3. Click Call Next (or press N) to call the next waiting visitor.
    • The system selects the highest-priority ticket automatically.
  4. The ticket number is broadcast to the display board, and TTS announces it.
  5. When the visitor arrives at your counter, click Start Serving (or press S).
    • This records the service start time.
  6. Complete the transaction, then click Complete (or press C) when done.
    • If the service has a multi-step workflow, this automatically routes the ticket to the next office.
    • If this is the last step, the ticket is marked Completed and a completion email is sent to the visitor (if opted in).

If the Visitor Does Not Come

  1. Click No-Show (press M) — marks the ticket as Missed.
  2. You can click Recall within 15 minutes to give the visitor another chance.
  3. After 15 minutes, the ticket automatically expires and cannot be recalled.
